Update made overpowering Traces difficult?

Has anyone else experienced that after the recent update the low level traces with no threat ribbons have been really hard to overpower?

Traces like Bogrod or Pomona Sprout and Bellatrix especially just keep resisting. I end up spending around 5-10 spell energy on merely one trace.

And now it's become difficult to play anyway with the threat levels of certain traces changing. So I go and unlock nodes to make things easy and voila! They go and become a higher threat item.

a stable/reliable location accuracy usually increase chance for capturing traces.

    but maybe just me thou.

anyway to me all commmon traces with high/very high (used to be non beam) are always hard to capture, its sometimes even rarer than emergency (the red beam)

@Kodokmag I know right! When Community weekends were held, McGonagall and Whomping willows were easier to subdue than the lower level items (sometimes without using exstimulos) . But somehow I feel it's become harder to get those pesky low level ones comparing it to pre-update situations.

I have noticed since last update. Items I could capture "relatively" easily, are now much harder. I spent a lot on upgrading my SOS spell effectiveness and assumed that was working but maybe they have "tweaked" the capture rate again?
