Adventure sync not working

Hi! Today I walked over 5km and none of it was registered in the game through adventure sync. I have adventure sync turned on but the game was turned off. Wizards Unite has permission to access my physical activity. This is annoying because I lost my trace charm charge and coins for today's efforts ( I completed all other tasks). I am using OnePlus 8 / android. This seems to be a glitch. Please can you look into it. I would be grateful if I could recover my list items. Thank you.
