The same has happened to me! I was trying to play the game and was taken to the App Store for an update, and suddenly my game content is gone, and I’m back at square one! I have logged in with my password and acct email, but the pst content of my game is gone. I am HIGHLY disappointed. The Wizarding World is a HARSH place.

You should be able to login by your usual method, and recover your game.
