Are you people crazy? Most people like myself can't walk about and get that much....please lower the amount to maybe 250 brilliant XP it would be better to do that then to expect people to get that

@Jsparkle0309 Chuck that. A combination of 7500 wizarding XP in task 3, 500 brilliant XP in task 4, 45 brilliant foundables and defeat highest unlocked chamber (both in bonus tasks). The insane amount of exstimulo potions, energy and sheer time that will be demanded by the whole event that too back to back after the first one with no coping days where you could brew potions all day or stock up on energy.

How stressful is this going to be?

there's an easy way since week 1 and 2 are back to back. gather 10 brilliant portks towards the end, walk them but DO NOT open them until you get to that task. All you need is at least 1 to give you (at least) 400+ BE FXP and youre set.

As to 7.5k wxp, do a bbe and dark 5 rune 5 w 5 ppl, it's 3.#k wxp per battle and you need 3ish battles, but you do need to win them.

This is madness. I hope they reconsider this challenge.

Agree this is a very difficult task to achieve. I did a crazy amount of Wizarding challenges to complete it the last time since you only get 10 BE xp SOME of the time. Portkeys might be a good solution, but with many areas still on lock down, aren't they supposed to be gearing it so you can play from home?

My country is in lockdown for the next 3 weeks. I have very few spawns in my house. I probably won't be able to open my portkeys. This will be very tough.

I wish MY country was on lockdown. Maybe we wouldn't have 200,000+ deaths.

Lately the game has been designed as if everyone is allowed to go out again, like the express dragon event, where the eggs were impossible to retrieve, for example.

In some places we are still under lock down and the restrictions to go out are very strong, so going out is just for a supermarket run.

So I, and as many other players, consider that the 500 brillian EXP is HIGHLY UNREASONABLE for the following reasons:

-The amount of EXP given by the foundables is not bigger than 5exp

-Placing the foundables only rewards 5exp

    - Challenges only reward 10exp when you get the fortress fragment, otherwise, it's a lost rune stone

-The best way to get the exp is by unlocking portkeys, HOW IN **** AM I GONNA UNLOCK THEM IF I CANNOT GO THE STREET?

-The spawn of the brilliant foundables is extremely low, even with a tonic for trace detector, and a lot of us really depend on the tonic to get some foundables, and now you are asking for an STUPIDLY BIG number of exp obtained by the MOST RIDICULOUS LOW EXP foundables?

Do you really want us to complete this events? Or you just want to make us spend money to get tonics so we can TRY to get the foundables?

Plus. There's not gonna be even a DAY between both brilliant events, I mean, it's just too much.

If you could increase the family exp rewarded by the brilliant foundables, it would be a different story, also the brilliant pages should reward exp as the regular family pages, since we have to return soooo many foundables to complete the unreasonable tasks, you should at least increase the rewards... Otherwise we are just burning time and spell energy.

I agree with author. 500 BE FXP is too much to complete it.

PS. BE Family is not fair reward for motivate player to collect it a lot.

Agreed. Task 4 is completely to hard. 500 Family XP is not fair. The spawns and drops from fortress are two low. Conpletly burned through my stock pile plus a purchase and only got halfway to 500. Not going to be able to finish much less get to bonus tasks. All this is a way to make players waste energy and stones to get more $$. Naintic makes a killing on Pokemon throw Ingress and WU players a break.

niantic isnt developing WU, WB are. Niantic gave the poi network and that's it. You want to vent at someone's greed, vent at WB games division and portkey games.

500 FXP in a week is not so much really. It can be done in 1-2 hours.

And remember that if you have any problems to complete the base tasks don’t even think about bonus. It’s called ”bonus” because that’s what it is. Something for those who finished the base tasks fast and have nothing to do anymore.

If 1 briliant trace gives 4 per trace than its 125 traces to complete. If no other source like runes would be used. If you have normal rate of spawns around your place + tonics it should be no challange.

how many traces do players strugling with this return per day?

I just picked 5 casual, local, day-1 players off my friends list, levels between 37-48. On average, they return 26 traces/day and do 2.5 challenges/day. So, let’s assume they can return 50% brilliants during the event. If we want step 4 to take them 3 days (which is already pushing it now that the bonus event is “mandatory” for books), a challenging goal would be ~180 brilliant FXP. 100-150 would probably be better. 500 is insane for them.

500 brilliant xp is incredibly daunting especially with such low BE spawn rates. I opened 4 brilliant portkeys saved from Part 1, and I only got 15 brilliant xp. Also, I've only seen maybe 4 total brilliant spawns so far today. Even after saving up part 1 BE images to place during part 2, I'm only at ~50 brilliant xp. I dont see how I'm going to get through this nor the bonus task unless something gives. I don't mind having things spread out across days nor do I mind not being able to finish everything as quickly as in the past, but the setup this time simply feels unreachable for a suburban player like me. If there were more brilliant spawns, this would be annoying yet doable. However, at this rate, I think this might be the very first event I don't complete. :(

Agree with all the comments that 500 BXP is excessive, turning this "fun" leisure activity into a joyless slog.

    TTD yields few brilliant traces.

Wizarding Challenges produce BXP less than 50% of the time - how fun it is to burn potions & energy in a tough room, only to get NOTHING for your troubles 😕.

Even placing items on the pages generates 5-10 BXP, compared to much higher yields on the family pages.

After several days of trying, and placing multiple items saved from part 1, I've barely cracked 300. I'll be completely burned out before I reach the bonus round!

Yeah... This is totally insane... As for the suggestion for portkeys, not a guarantee and not even easy in my current lockdown situation... This back-to-back event nonsense hasn't even given me the chance to replenish spent keys and potions

This BE is definitely one of the more lengthily ones, but doable. Even indoors, you can get more distance than being outdoors.

    Portkeys (Adventure Sync enabled):

During the Dragon Week I've learned how to utilize Adventure Sync (3KM per hour):

    1)Close game

2)Open your health app to check distance, close app

3)Do your indoor movement (tossing phone, jogging, steps... etc)

4)Open your health app to ensure distance increased, close app (Time interval to update distance may vary)

5)Open HPWU and open daily events (This will update distance from health app)

6)Load the next Portkey and repeat

get a pendulum swing and/or an autowalker app, w swing you can open around 10 portks an hr, w autowaker x10 that.

In theory ofc, hypothetically speaking, id not know anything abt that personally.

It would seem Niantic would do more to allow people to play from home. It is really sad that people are not allowed to have a pittance of happiness while trying to keep their family's lives safe during a pandemic. I guess we should not expect more from company out to make money. 😢

@Grazatan That was bad luck then. In average I got 10 to 15 fxp from one portkey, highest received was 45 fxp from one single portkey.

Did you know you will earn more fxp from wild Encounters once you've reached maximum count and don't place them?

    - with placing: 65 fxp (20 x 3 + 5 for placing)

    - without placing: 80 fxp (20 x 4)

Just completed! The tip to not place the images and get 4x per fragment was a good one. Thanks!

Also helped that one brilliant portkey awarded 110 family XP.

I agree the brilliant events consume way too much time to complete for casual players. I used to play this game for fun with my girlfriend, but we are both thinking about quitting the game because the events feel like a grind fest instead of a fun bonus activity because of the ridiculous amount of brilliant xp and foundables to collect.

The 7.5k wizarding challenge xp is **** because finding one lobby with all 3 professions already took about 20 minutes due to the matchmaking system.

Please make the events feel fun again :) by decreasing the time needed to complete the quests.

I have nothing helpful to add here but I need to get this off of my chest

I may not finish the event... which is crazy to me. I've always finished them. 500 XP is utter nonsense...

I didn't finish the last one, trying in vain to get 750 mysteries XP. So I have ONE foundable that's incomplete.

750 was ridiculous, since (1) I didn't see many of the mysteries foundables, (2) those I saw sometimes departed after only one or two spell casts, and(3) battles only provided 10 XP.
