I’ve tried everything on the trouble **** page to no avail. I can’t get the game to load on my iPhone or my iPad. Initially the game stopped working on my phone while I was running iOS 14 beta software. But it would still load on my iPad that was not running beta software. Now it will not load on either. The game brings up a black screen and closes. Never even makes it to a loading screen.
I have an Apple 10 and they ran an update last night and now my game won’t open. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, I have deleted, rebooted and reinstalled.

I'm having the same issue and I'm so annoyed because this will be the first day ever that I don't get my daily gift. I also can't continue with this event. Very annoyed.

Updated this morning to iOS 14 and game to latest version of app - opens to black screen and crashes immediately.
AU Apple App Store reports current version is 2.14 (1 month ago).
The game needs to be on version 2.15, but there is no word on when that will become available
Other Niantic (ingress and Pokémon go) already have updates.
Where is 2.15? There is an ongoing event?
Pokémon go sent out tweets yesterday saying it wouldn’t work with iOS 14 but seems to be working fine, not sure why HPWU can’t get it sorted.
Game won’t launch and force quits immediately when launching.

Are you playing on iPhone and already updated to iOS 14?

Ahh this has happened on mine too! Why is it always during timed events that this happens!!!

Before updating any operating system on your phone, pc, tablet, whatever.
It would be VERY wise to ensure BEFORE updating, all your important apps will actually support the new os...
But I do agree, WB/Niantic could have communicated this a much better just as the other social-media accounts did for the other games.
My app won’t open after phone updated to iOS14 and won’t load. Screen is black for a few seconds and then the app crashes.

Did you update both to the iOS14 release?
HPWU has not been updated yet to support iOS14, should rollout today though...

Same thing is happening to me. I keep getting kicked out of the app if I click on a foundable.

After start, quickly return to OS, after update to iPadOS 14 on iPad Air 3.
Apps Update 2.15.0
iPad restart, Apps delete&re-install was tried.
ingress & PokemonGO works fine.

After re-try delete&re-install, run well on iPadOS 14.
