Dragon eggs not available as rewards in NB

The four dragon eggs are not available as rewards for challenges. The only rewards available are the serpent egg and the bow.
My sense is that people have accepted this as how it's meant to work. But I'm in stage four lockdown, so I'd much prefer to be engaged with the game and battling on the night bus, rather than swinging my arms while watching television to get the pieces from "walking".
Can it please be checked if this is in the design or just a bug? I've seen bugs before that community members were offering explanations for, rather than raising bug reports. The last page of sports and games was released with the fortress foundable not available in fortresses, so it is an error that has occurred before.
Even if it's not a bug, can the policy please be reviewed, given the game has successfully been altered in other ways to make it more enjoyable to play from home?

TBH CAITIE68 this is a medium risk foundable and not a challenge foundable. It would be too easy to crack this page if it was a challenge foundable. It is intentionally hard to crack it. an easy game could be boring? :) This is a challenging part of getting to gold for Dragon sections! thats also why dragons are once a year!
The eggs never win in challenges, just in open portkeys of the 5k (10k) or special event
