That rant speaks to my soul, @Craeft, though I have to admit I’m often guilty of #9. When I write, it looks like a comma bomb exploded all over the page. I write in, very much, the same way Christopher Walken... speaks.
Aside from my son, the Oxford comma is the only thing I ever truly loved.
That fits with my experience also @Dogoutlaw I see centaurs regularly but haven’t seen a horned serpent yet.
@Acumen I approve of your self-criticism on grammar. For your reading pleasure, I give you something I wrote a long time ago. It was spurred by reading and being a part of gaming forums; specifically, World of Warcraft.
Please grab a hot beverage of your choice, sit back, relax, and enjoy.
@Craeft It was very easy like @Overflow4487 sister did, switch from Professor to Auror don’t need to use any books or scrolls, do lev 1 Fortress. Afterwards switch back, nothing lost, Common Dark Wizards gained. I only did it because of @Overflow4487 suggestion.
I also want to chime in on the frustration actually clicking these tiny tiny wrackspurts flying by in the window. I'm sincerely hoping this isn't something Niantic will repeat in the future; it is an actual accessibility issue. I'm having to just spam tap at the edge of the window hoping I get something because by the time my brain is able to register a wrackspurt is there, it's flew past. I generally enjoy the portkey mechanic, being able to look around the environment the portkey takes me to, but this time's brilliant portkey has just not been fun to me.
I used (you're) where I should have used (your) in the TLDR section, and it's making my eye twitch. It sucks that you can no longer edit posts here after 60 minutes. Or was it 30? I don't know. Either way, it sucks.
Hey forum administrators! I'd like to make a humble request. Please navigate to Forum > Advanced Settings in the administrator dashboard and change the "Edit for ... minutes" option on posts to a greater value, like 24 hours. If you do this, I will reward you with shiny trinkets and, I don't know, bread or something. 😁
I have no idea! I’m hoping for a global event. Like when it goes to severe, all wizards around the globe will have to battle try and bring the threat level down. I can’t wait to see it in person and may be a little obsessed with it that day, haha!
LoL, there are a lot of us getting concerned looks from the neighbors @MizSeeker! On a positive note, this has allowed me to see other people creeping about at night in a whole new way! Sure, some of them are probably shady characters, but it's easy to tell which ones are just other people playing HPWU, PoGo, or Ingress.
I never noticed it until today, over a month later, but it needs to be said. @Craeft's comment wins the internet, which means all subsequent comments were rendered invalid by default. I'm sorry, I don't write the rules, I just enforce them.
I think it's totally okay to believe it helps if you have the right wand, regardless of whether it's true. I have a friend who believes yelling (or whispering depending on where we are) the spell at his phone while he casts it definitely improves the success rate. At first I thought he was crazy. I still do, only now I do it too.
